Altars
Altar making is at the center of my spiritual practice. Below are some examples of what I can help you create for yourself, based on the unique needs and materials at your disposal.

Stone Garden Altar
This altar was constructed for my grandmother from stones collected along sixty miles of the Oregon coast.

Cleansing Altar
Each day I would create an altar to cleanse and venerate the stones I found along the beach. The tarot cards I pulled were actually quite humorous, ten of wands and ten of swords, as I was dealing with a decent amount of backpain from continuously lugging beautiful stones up cliffsides and along winding trails. Some of the stones were up to sixty pounds.

Lunar Altar
This altar was built outside my last home as a place to observe, honor, and commune with the moon. Rain, snow, or shine.

Shell Altar
Made from shells collected from South Beach, Miami. Creating an Altar from found materials is a special way to connect with place.

Lunar Water Altar
This altar was my contribution to a collaboration with my friend, Madison, for a performance she was sharing at a festival in Atlanta.

Garden Altar
This is where I would spend time in my garden with my groundskeeper, Mr. Kitty. He lived at my home long before I did and showed me how to be with the land.

Traveling Altar
An altar provides a foundation when traveling. I often create one in my room as a place to emerge from and return to each day. Here I spend time in prayer, consider what direction to face, and adorn myself.

Another Traveling Altar
This is from a trip to Chicago with my husband.

Seahorse Altar
An altar can be made of anything. This one that fit in the palm of my hand was made from my great grandmother's brooches.
